As Gisèle so kindly announced, here’s my view on our saturday night: one full of good music, old friends, new friends, crazy dance acts and simply having a good time.
It all started out at Attila’s place, after listening to the ultimate party song (Hadouken – Get smashed Gate crash, the video clip is a bit similar to this very night..) we started our walk to Petrol, a club near Antwerp, but very difficult to reach. We filled our time with this:
(photo taking) and walking, walking, walking. After about one hour we arrive, we enter, and the night begins!
There was a music talent thing going on, heard some rap music, but decided to sit down a bit, have some drinks, catching up with the old friends: Maarten, Steven, Wouter and Reindert, which always leads to the funniest conversations.
The first band to amaze was the last one, Team William
They’re a bit of everything mixed together, I could hear Clap your hands say yeah, the singer voice’s reminded us of the Spinto band, the keyboarder’s energy made it fun to watch. I think we’re going to hear a lot of them, and to top it off: they actually won.
In the wait for
The Black Box Revelation, we proofed our love for LOTP. once more, writing stuff on our arms…I have to admit, the obsession is there…
Then they arrived and were soooo amazing live, everyone went insane, I vaguely remember jumping on Attila and Gisèle, while hitting some other people on the way… my ultimate favorite song: Gravity blues.
After this amazing gig, we went to drink some more, they played Hives songs, we danced, icecubes getting stuck in clothes, suddenly a change in music, it could only mean one thing, Brodinski!
It started off a bit slow actually, but it was only a moment before it all climaxed. *limbs everywhere* is a good way to describe it. A lot of stuff happened, getting pulled on the dancefloor, (almost) grabbing Jan’s ass, Gisèle wanting to hug mr. white shirt; and so on. Daniel kept buying us drinks, which was nice, but the results were there later….nausea, nausea, nausea, thank god for the outside seating arrangement, and daniel’s warm jacket
At about 4.30 in the morning we left. On the way home we bumped into some people with traffic lights asking us to turn off the lights, with a hair pin we managed. Walked along the pier, eventually reaching the bus stop, and fell asleep (that’s for me , Gisèle was in a ultrahypermood.), just to wake up on time, saying goodbye and starting the busride home!
A beautiful evening it was, which I simply won’t forget
Till the next one
Phara…

Such a pity you fell asleep, you missed out on me chasing Paul the Pigeon and all the unquestionable intelligent conversations Daniel and I had. But no worries though my love, you didn’t slobber when you were asleep.
