Today it’s time for some great electronic music.
Proxy
I don’t really know much about him. He’s from Russia, he’s signed to Turbo Recordings (Tiga’s record label) and he has an album coming out this year. Mark my words: that album is gonna be big.

Last week, Slagsmålsklubben played in the Handelsbeurs in Ghent supporting The Whitest Boy Alive. They only arrived fifteen minutes before they had to get on stage, but by throwing candy and sugarcoated beats at us they managed to pull off an excellent set. They were scheduled for another gig later that night, so when the [...]

Street fashion means ‘outfits put together by people themself, in a creative and original way’. Some people from all over the world (New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo…) take the initiative to photograph these interesting creations and put them in blogs.
Personally I spend a lot of time browsing the net to find such ones. [...]

“DoingDrugsDrugsDrugsDoingDrugsDrugsDrugsDoingDrugsDrugsDrugs… Look at me I’m doing drugs”
I started to have my doubts, but karma does exist. Yesterday I paid for the first time after 8 o’clock on tram 1 and before I knew it I witnessed an entertaining conversation between two semi-professional pot smokers. Entertaining might not be the right word: their slow pace made [...]

In issue 260 (published in March 2008), Q magazine gave an overview of ‘50 years of Great British music’. Same again please, there’s nothing new under the sun. One issue pretty much summed up what the magazine has been talking about for the last couple of years. With all the respect for the magazine [...]

Regularly I search the myspace network for some *nice to the ear* songs, it’s much fun, clicking on and on and on, and sometimes you’ll find something beautiful.
The first one: Elle Milano, I’ve heard them before, but since a few weeks I’m really hooked. I like special voices, and this is the thing here. I [...]

Yesterday, our favorite band Late Of The Pier uploaded their two new videos on youtube. One for Focker and one for Space And The Woods.
The video for Focker is my favorite. It contains a robotic monster, some crazy dancing and melting faces. How can this be bad?
The other video, for [...]

The moment all of us had been looking forward to finally took place yesterday. MGMT was about to play the ABClub in Brussels. Although only me and Phara had tickets, Hermie worked that magic powers and won tickets (once again) so she and Gisèle could join the party.
Florence and the Machine were a good warmerup [...]
