Regularly I search the myspace network for some *nice to the ear* songs, it’s much fun, clicking on and on and on, and sometimes you’ll find something beautiful.
The first one: Elle Milano, I’ve heard them before, but since a few weeks I’m really hooked. I like special voices, and this is the thing here. I just love the way the backing vocals interact with the lead vocal, It reminds me somehow of Los Campesinos!. That’s just one of the many things you can recognise, I’ts a mixture of all genres. I don’t like defining things anyway…

They have a debut album, which is out now: Acres of Dead Space Cadets.
The second one: Winterkids, I found them between the top friends of Elle Milano on myspace. They are sooo catchy, it’s like The wombats mixed with Vampire weekend, with a lovely British voice and some spacy tunes, another good mixture. Hmmm can’t get enough of them.

I adore Elle Milano, musically and hair-wise. Didn’t know about Winterkids before, they seem ok.
(by the way; feel free to have a look at my blog as well. I used to have this diary-like blog, but since not everyone I know was as keen to be mentionned in it, I’ve now switched to a new blog with my personal musical advice :p)
The other Winterkids songs are less hooky as Tape It, but certaintly worth listening to.
