A thing for Metronomy

Yes it’s true, I confess: I’ve got a thing for Metronomy.

This ‘thing’ has just developed a couple of days ago. But let’s start with the beginning: I heard about them months and months ago but for one reason or another I wasn’t particularly interested in them at that time. It changed a couple of months later when I was listening to the radio on a very late hour. It’s something I normally never do but I suppose it was faith because they just started playing ‘A Thing For Me’ by Metronomy. I didn’t realise it was them until they said so.

I obsessively started searching for the song but unfortunately enough couldn’t find it anywhere. And then finally a couple of days ago I thought of the song (I have no idea why) and searched for them on HypeM. And they had lots and lots of it so I immediately downloaded it and I have been listening to it for days and days now.

What they do with keyboards is just amazing. Even those instrumental songs make me dance till I fall down. ‘A Thing For Me’ has kind of become my anthem I think, I play it at least one time a day and try to sing along as loud as I can. Try it sometime! It makes you feel goooooooood.

Oh and write down in your diary on 8 september: release of ‘Nights Out’, their debutalbum.
